Tata for now
A letter from our co-founder, Cristina Toff.
To our followers, our supporters and those who have yet to discover us:
It is with mixed emotions that I share that, after a lot of thought, I have decided to leave milksource. I did not come to this decision lightly, but I think it is what is ultimately best. I have decided that, at this time, I need to focus my priorities on my family and my current project launching in October.
About a year and a half ago, Evian and I met at a local La Leche League meeting and began a friendship based on our common interests, passions and desires to support breastfeeding moms. That friendship evolved into a business partnership when we created milksource a little over a year ago to do just that.
I have been so proud of and fulfilled by what we've created in this short amount of time and of what I've personally accomplished. I will miss the website building and blogging, the connections and community I've formed on Instagram from @themilksource, and the relationships I've built with individuals and organizations who are similarly supporting mothers.
While I am leaving milksource, I am not in any way leaving this space - I remain committed to the cause. The amount of messages I've received asking for help or thanking me for my support has truly humbled me, and the small impact I've been able to make propels me forward. Supporting women as they enter and navigate new motherhood is my passion and something that I will continue to do in different areas.
Today is my last day working for milksource, but I will always be proud of what we founded together and will continue to root milksource on from the sidelines.
I'd love to stay in touch. You can find me over at @cristinatoff or connect with me anytime at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I want to finish by saying thank you - for the support, encouragement and love since day 1. Onward and upward!
